KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu) Compliant
Effective Date: 11 March 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sahada ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data in accordance with Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and applicable regulations. By using the Sahada platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
1. Data Controller
Sahada operates as the data controller for personal data processed through this platform. For the purposes of KVKK compliance, you may contact our data controller representative at:

2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data when you register and use Sahada:
2.1 Account & Identity Data
• Full name
• Email address
• Date of birth (to verify minimum age)
• Profile photo (optional)
• Gender (optional)
2.2 Sports & Activity Data
• Sports preferences and skill levels
• Athlete profile information (position, achievements, etc.)
• Availability and scheduling preferences
2.3 Location Data
• General city/district location (for matching nearby athletes and venues)
• Precise GPS location (only when you actively use the 'find nearby' feature and with your explicit consent)
2.4 Technical Data
• Device identifiers and IP address
• App usage logs and analytics
• Cookie and tracking data (with prior consent)
2.5 Communications Data
• Messages sent via the in-app messaging feature
• Support requests and correspondence
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Under Article 5 of KVKK, we process your personal data on the following legal grounds:
• Explicit Consent: For processing location data, marketing communications, and optional profile fields
• Performance of a Contract: To create and manage your account and provide core platform features
• Legal Obligation: To comply with Turkish law, including tax, security, and regulatory requirements
• Legitimate Interest: For platform security, fraud prevention, and improving our services
4. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data solely for the following purposes:
• Creating and managing your Sahada profile
• Matching you with other athletes, teams, or venues based on your preferences
• Sending you relevant notifications and communications (with consent)
• Processing in-app transactions or bookings
• Ensuring platform safety and preventing fraud
• Complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests
• Improving our platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with third parties only in the following circumstances:
• Service Providers: Hosting, analytics, and customer support providers operating under data processing agreements
• Legal Authorities: When required by Turkish law, court order, or regulatory authority
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, with equivalent data protection obligations
Any third party receiving your data is contractually bound to protect it in accordance with KVKK standards.
6. Cross-Border Data Transfers
If we transfer your personal data outside of Türkiye (for example, to cloud infrastructure), we do so in accordance with Article 9 of KVKK, using one of the following safeguards:
• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the Turkish Data Protection Authority (KVKK Authority)
• Explicit consent of the data subject
• Adequacy decision by the KVKK Authority for the recipient country
We will notify the KVKK Authority of any international data transfers as required by law.
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
• Right to be informed about whether your personal data is being processed
• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectification if your data is inaccurate or incomplete
• Right to erasure (right to be forgotten) when the purpose for processing no longer exists
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Right to data portability
• Right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing)
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@sportconnect.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu) at www.kvkk.gov.tr.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Specifically:
• Account data: Retained for the duration of your account, plus 3 years after closure
• Transaction records: Retained for 10 years per Turkish tax law requirements
• Communication logs: Retained for 2 years for safety and dispute resolution purposes
• Location data: Deleted within 90 days unless you request earlier deletion
9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Sahada uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. Under KVKK, we obtain your explicit consent before placing any non-essential cookies.
• Essential Cookies: Required for the platform to function — no consent required
• Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how you use the app — require your consent
• Marketing Cookies: Used for personalised content — require your consent
10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data, including:
• End-to-end encryption for messages
• Encrypted storage of sensitive personal data
• Access controls limiting employee access to personal data
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the KVKK Authority and affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, in accordance with KVKK requirements.
11. VERBIS Registration
As required under KVKK, Sahada is registered (or in the process of registering) with the Data Controllers Registry Information System (VERBİS) operated by the KVKK Authority.
12. Children's Privacy
Sahada is not intended for users under the age of 13. Users between 13 and 18 should obtain parental consent before registering. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will delete it promptly.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.

Bu Gizlilik Politikası, Sahada'in ('biz', 'bizim') kişisel verilerinizi Türkiye Cumhuriyeti 6698 Sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve ilgili mevzuat kapsamında nasıl topladığını, kullandığını, depoladığını ve koruduğunu açıklamaktadır. Sahada platformunu kullanarak bu politikayı okuyup anladığınızı kabul etmiş olursunuz.

• Spor tercihleri ve beceri düzeyleri
• Sporcu profil bilgileri (pozisyon, başarılar vb.)
• Müsaitlik ve program tercihleri
2.3 Konum Bilgileri
• Genel şehir/ilçe konumu (yakın sporcu ve tesisleri eşleştirmek için)
• Hassas GPS konumu (yalnızca 'yakınımdakiler' özelliğini aktif olarak kullandığınızda ve açık rızanızla)
2.4 Teknik Veriler
• Cihaz kimlikleri ve IP adresi
• Uygulama kullanım kayıtları ve analizler
• Çerez ve izleme verileri (önceden alınan rızayla)
2.5 İletişim Verileri
• Uygulama içi mesajlaşma yoluyla gönderilen mesajlar

3. Veri İşlemenin Hukuki Dayanağı
KVKK'nın 5. maddesi uyarınca kişisel verilerinizi aşağıdaki hukuki gerekçelere dayanarak işliyoruz:
• Açık Rıza: Konum verisi, pazarlama iletişimi ve isteğe bağlı profil alanlarının işlenmesi için
• Sözleşmenin İfası: Hesabınızın oluşturulması ve yönetilmesi ile temel platform özelliklerinin sunulması için
• Hukuki Yükümlülük: Vergi, güvenlik ve düzenleyici gereklilikler dahil Türk hukukuna uymak için
• Meşru Menfaat: Platform güvenliği, dolandırıcılık önleme ve hizmetlerimizi geliştirme amacıyla
4. Kişisel Verilerinizi Nasıl Kullanıyoruz
• Sahada profilinizi oluşturmak ve yönetmek
• Sizi tercihlerinize göre diğer sporcular, takımlar veya tesislerle eşleştirmek
• Size ilgili bildirimler ve iletişimler göndermek (rızanızla)
• Uygulama içi işlemleri veya rezervasyonları gerçekleştirmek
• Platform güvenliğini sağlamak ve dolandırıcılığa karşı önlem almak
• Hukuki yükümlülüklerimizi yerine getirmek ve yasal taleplere yanıt vermek
• Anonimleştirilmiş analizler aracılığıyla platformumuzu geliştirmek
5. Veri Paylaşımı ve Üçüncü Taraflar
Kişisel verilerinizi satmıyoruz. Verilerinizi yalnızca aşağıdaki durumlarda üçüncü taraflarla paylaşırız:
• Hizmet Sağlayıcılar: Veri işleme sözleşmeleri kapsamında faaliyet gösteren barınma, analitik ve müşteri destek sağlayıcıları
• Hukuki Makamlar: Türk hukuku, mahkeme kararı veya düzenleyici kurum tarafından gerekli görüldüğünde
• Şirket Devirleri: Birleşme veya satın alma halinde, eş düzey veri koruma yükümlülükleriyle
Verilerinizi alan her üçüncü taraf, KVKK standartlarına uygun şekilde koruma sağlamakla sözleşmesel olarak yükümlüdür.
6. Yurt Dışına Veri Aktarımı
Kişisel verilerinizi Türkiye dışına aktardığımızda (örneğin bulut altyapısı için), bunu KVKK'nın 9. maddesi uyarınca aşağıdaki güvencelerden birine dayanarak gerçekleştiririz:
• KVKK Kurulu tarafından onaylanan Standart Sözleşme Hükümleri (SSH)
• İlgili kişinin açık rızası
• KVKK Kurulu'nun alıcı ülke için aldığı yeterlilik kararı
7. Veri Sahibi Olarak Haklarınız
KVKK'nın 11. maddesi uyarınca kişisel verileriniz konusunda aşağıdaki haklara sahipsiniz:
• Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme hakkı
• Kişisel verilerinize erişim hakkı
• Verilerinizin yanlış veya eksik olması halinde düzeltilmesini talep etme hakkı
• İşleme amacının ortadan kalkması durumunda silinmesini talep etme hakkı (unutulma hakkı)
• İşlemenin kısıtlanmasını talep etme hakkı
• Meşru menfaate dayalı işlemeye itiraz etme hakkı
• Veri taşınabilirlik hakkı
• Önceki işlemenin hukukiliğini etkilemeksizin rızanızı herhangi bir zamanda geri çekme hakkı
Bu haklardan herhangi birini kullanmak için privacy@sportconnect.com adresine başvurabilirsiniz. 30 gün içinde yanıt verilecektir. Ayrıca www.kvkk.gov.tr adresindeki Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu'na şikayet başvurusunda bulunma hakkınız da mevcuttur.
8. Veri Saklama
• Hesap bilgileri: Hesabınızın aktif olduğu süre boyunca ve kapanmasının ardından 3 yıl
• İşlem kayıtları: Türk vergi mevzuatı gereğince 10 yıl
• İletişim kayıtları: Güvenlik ve uyuşmazlık çözümü amacıyla 2 yıl
• Konum bilgileri: Daha erken silme talebinde bulunulmadıkça 90 gün içinde silinir
9. Çerezler ve İzleme Teknolojileri
Sahada çerezler ve benzeri izleme teknolojileri kullanmaktadır. KVKK uyarınca zorunlu olmayan çerezleri yerleştirmeden önce açık rızanızı alıyoruz.
• Zorunlu Çerezler: Platformun çalışabilmesi için gereklidir, rıza gerekmez
• Analitik Çerezler: Uygulamayı nasıl kullandığınızı anlamamıza yardımcı olur, rızanız gereklidir
• Pazarlama Çerezleri: Kişiselleştirilmiş içerik sunmak için kullanılır, rızanız gereklidir
10. Veri Güvenliği
• Mesajlar için uçtan uca şifreleme
• Hassas kişisel verilerin şifrelenmiş depolanması
• Çalışanların kişisel verilere erişimini kısıtlayan erişim kontrolleri
• Düzenli güvenlik denetimleri ve açık noktası değerlendirmeleri
Kişisel veri ihlali yaşanması durumunda, KVKK gerekliliklerine uygun olarak ihlalden haberdar olmamızın ardından 72 saat içinde KVKK Kurumu'na ve etkilenen kullanıcılara bildirimde bulunacağız.
11. VERBİS Kaydı
KVKK uyarınca Sahada, KVKK Kurumu tarafından işletilen Veri Sorumluları Sicili Bilgi Sistemi'ne (VERBİS) kayıtlıdır veya kayıt süreci devam etmektedir.
12. Çocukların Gizliliği
Sahada 13 yaşın altındaki kullanıcılara yönelik değildir. 13-18 yaş arası kullanıcılar kayıt olmadan önce ebeveyn rızası almalıdır. 13 yaş altında bir çocuktan uygun rıza alınmaksızın veri topladığımızı fark edersek, bu verileri derhal sileceğiz.
13. Bu Politikadaki Değişiklikler
Bu Gizlilik Politikasını zaman zaman güncelleyebiliriz. Önemli değişiklikleri yürürlükte tarihinden en az 30 gün önce e-posta veya uygulama içi bildirimle size duyuracağız.
